SEO Specialist

We are looking for an SEO specialist with English proficiency who is passionate about digital marketing to create and execute organic search strategies for Pixel506’s clients. As an SEO Specialist you can speak just as fluently about hreflang tags, robots.txt files, and canonical tags as you can about a holistic keyword strategy, content marketing, off-site citations, and inbound link profiles. You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of SEO for our clients as well as ongoing execution and implementation. You’ll report to digital directors and will work closely with account managers, other SEO specialists and strategists, clients, and channel experts.


  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, advertising design or a related field. ( or equivalent job experience)
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience executing organic search campaigns, and an understanding of how search interacts with other marketing channels
  • Experience with hreflang tags, robots.txt files, and canonical tags
  • Skills in holistic keyword strategy, content marketing, off-site citation and inbound link profiling
  • Agency experience is a plus
  • English: B2 or Higher


  • Analyze, develop and execute the strategy as related to SEO
  • Perform pre-launch and post-launch audits and QA for website redesigns and migrations
  • Manage workflow process of SEO deliverables

  • Manage and communicate SEO as a business strategy
  • Manage day-to-day account activity and client deliverables
  • Educate clients and internal team on best practices and general SEO education
  • Stay up to date and transfer knowledge of best practices and latest developments in SEO
  • Be a self-starter and team player
  • Work with cross-functional teams to plan, implement and improve account performance aligned with client goals and initiatives
  • Provide benchmark and tracking reports to account managers, clients and search team on positions, traffic, conversions and other metrics
  • Drive innovation and implement testing strategies to continually uncover optimization levers, enhance learning, and improve performance


  • Experience with online marketing is a plus (paid search, social, email, display)
  • Skills with keyword research/data mining tools and competitive analysis
  • Presentation capability and ability to meet with customers in person, via Zoom and by phone
  • Knowledge of HTML is a plus
  • Ability to work with  CSS, Java-script, Flash, AJAX and/or other technologies preferred
  • Knowledge of Content Management Systems (DNN, Drupal, WordPress, Ektron) and their impacts to search preferred
  • Understanding web analytics software
  • Understanding of SEO analytics software (Semrush, Conductor, Searchmetrics, Moz, etc)
  • Excellent knowledge of search engine criteria/algorithm updates (Panda, Penguin, Pigeon)
  • Exceptional analytics, project management skills, writing and organizational skills
  • Ability to report results to management and to communicate clearly with account teams and internal/external stakeholder
